Panasonic's new paper-based packaging for batteries represents a substantial advancement in minimising plastic usage compared to traditional packaging methods. The most significant benefit of this environmentally friendly approach is a remarkable 75 per cent reduction in plastic compared to previous packaging. The inner and outer boxes, constructed from more than 70 per cent recycled paper content, reduce overall paper consumption by more than 30 per cent.
