Round trip energy efficiency (discharge from 100% to 0% and back to 100% charged) of LiFePO4 batteries is 92% compared to lead acid batteries at around 80%. In off-grid applications like solar and/or wind, better energy efficiency means less energy loss.
LiFePO4 batteries are up to 70% smaller and 70% lighter than equivalent lead acid batteries. Replaces previous model LFP-BMS12.8/300.
Important Information: Victron Energy LFP batteries have integrated cell balancing and cell monitoring. Up to five batteries can be paralleled and up to four batteries can be series connected, so that a 48V battery bank of up to 1650Ah can be assembled. The cell balancing/monitoring cables can be daisy-chained and must be connected to a Battery Management System (BMS) with two M8 circular connector cord sets.
